  1. I like the truth and accuracy in your story, Terveen. Unfortunately, I encountered such people in my time as a police officer in London. Their coldness and lack of empathy is something that stays with you.

    • I’ve watched quite a few documentaries, Davy, and some criminals are lacking of any kind of emotion. It must’ve been stressful to be among such people. I think it could be a consequence of mental disease/disorder and traumatic circumstances which they have endured themselves. And I’ve also read that some had no reason at all. It was just being unable to accept that they or anyone else deserved to be happy.

  2. Sometimes when the relationship goes bad, it feels like the two are going to do the ultimate damage to each other. The problem is that love doesn’t offer a natural exit. When people fall in love, they never think that they need to dig a tunnel of escape when the love doesn’t work out.

    • I agree, Haoyan. Being together and being miserable and then finding joy and love outside the marriage has become a trend. Why marry if you aren’t ready to carry the weight of it all? And why not divorce if it’s turned sour? It really is a crazy way to live. Thanks for your thoughts. I appreciate them. 🙂

    • That’s a very interesting perspective, Cassa. Just linear thinking with no deviations or exceptions. His inner thinking views everyone the same way. That’s quite scary.

      • If his brain’s process centre has a different representation from most of us, then his behaviour is explainable.

  3. Reminds me of one of my favorite books/movies, No Country for Old Men. The opening narration mentions a young man who planned on carrying out a murder and did so. No reason, just wanted to do it. The narrator couldn’t understand. It’s hard to understand.

Anyway, I liked your story! 🙂

    • Thanks so much! Things like this are hard to understand, but the person in question already has the answer which so-called ‘normal’ people aren’t able to accept. Goes against the conscience. Maybe some have no right or wrong bone in their body.

    • Thanks so much, Jeff. I truly appreciate it. I hope you have a great Sunday and an amazing week ahead. Take care. 🙂

      • You’re most welcome, Terveen. Always. Thank you, my friend. I hope your Sunday and coming week are amazing too. 😊
