    • It’s that moment that will haunt Bob forever, along with the annoying question – WHY ME?! Thanks David! 🙂

  1. If it still works, it is worthy of a celebration anyways. Yes, it has a broken screen, but somehow I have never seen a person walking around with an iPhone that is still completely intact. Not sure if his wife his happy though…

    • I suppose that’s the optimistic way of looking at it. Imagine obtaining something, and then literally losing it the very next second. I hope Bob can find his peace and that his wife just let’s him be. Thanks so much for your awesome viewpoint. 🙂

    • Hi Deepthy! Yes, a very swift and painful – gain and loss. No time to even process it properly. Thanks so much! 🙂

  2. Your stories always lift an afternoon, Terveen. At least the man got to have a moment to sit in comfort. Often, that is all some of us men can aim for. 😂 An enjoyable read, Terveen. Thank you. 🙏

    • Haha! That’s a truth that can’t be denied. I think Bob should be thankful for that. Your words make me realize that a man and a comfortable sofa may be the dream couple. Thanks so much, Davy. 🙂

  3. Poor Bob. He just can’t catch a break, can he? Yes, he should definitely bring it to a repair place and it can be fixed probably.

    • Now that’s an optimistic outlook. But sometimes smashed luck drains any hope left. Thanks so much, Haoyan! 🙂

  4. He can still sell it though and buy a lesser iPhone model, no? Don’t know much about iPhones I admit. That’s a neat story, Terveen.👍🏼😊

    • Thanks Aaysid! I suppose Bob is just too upset to think straight. The iPhone was probably the last straw. Ouch! 🙂

  5. Your language is always so crisp, and the storytelling is second to none. Your writing is amazing, Terveen. 😊

    • Thank you so much, Jeff! I appreciate your lovely observations and your wonderful support and encouragement that adds to my determination and makes me want to write even more. A big smile from me to you. Have a great start to your week. 🙂
