There’s no fun in a half-baked tale!

They didn’t know what to do with him. He was spilling all over the place. His tears were creating a ruckus that was proving hard to contain. In fact, he was slobbering, his mouth resembling a sporadic fountain of saliva. They tried to amuse him with jokes, funny anecdotes that had cracked him up in […]

  1. what a cry baby; I hope the marriage works ; I hope he is redeemed; would be interesting to revisit this couple a few years down the track 🙂

  2. Tears of undying love and affection, Terveen. How could any bride resist? Like johnlmalone says, I would be interested in seeing how this relationship has developed a few years on. Will it be the bride shedding the tears?

    • I guess ‘too emotional’ or ‘not emotional enough’ are vying for the crown of confusion. Lol. Hope they stay a couple down the road. Thanks so much, Davy. 🙂

  3. Well the title got me instantly. My dad would always tell me to quit my damned jackass behaviour. This story was funny. I got to the end and all I could think of was the priests’ reaction 😂😂 I love yiur story telling Terveen.

    • Haha! Thanks so much, Nigel. Parents do have a way of exaggerating things. And the priest better get used to changing times and behaviors. Take care and keep the words coming! 🙂

  4. With a sledgehammer title like that, I knew this tale would be entertaining. 😀 I’d have paid to be there to witness that moment in the church, and I’m sure it would have gone viral on social media. Poor guy would never live it down. Oh well. Yay, marriage… 🙂 Another stellar story from a master of the craft. Well done, Terveen. 🙂

    • I love how your comment could be a Part 2 to this story. He’d either be persecuted or praised for his behavior. Because in this world – apparently – there is no in between. Thanks so much, Mike. It would have been a scene worth watching. 🙂

  5. Hmm, he is too young to get married, but I heard that it is not so uncommon as we think. Still I am glad that he is expressing himself at least, albeit in a “jackass” way. Wish everything goes well …

    • Lol. Love your reply. At least he’s not pretending to be something he’s not. Thanks so much. 😄
