  1. where do you come up with these kooky pics, Terveen? but it is a costume party so I get it; hugely entertaining — I did not know where this was going — and nor did our sad sack ‘hero’ but it was an ending, you could argue, he had coming —

  2. Lol… I like when Terveen dives into her quirky side. Always hits the right tone that cracks me up. 😜 Twas a fun read as always.

  3. Great story Terveen. I think people can be even more rude when in a costume. Who knows what you might find at a costume party.

  4. Haha, that’s a costume party I would like to attend, if only to see the fight at the end. And the fat man cupid is not as rare as we would like him to be. I’ve often met people like that in our community who’s trying to stir up some rumors or twist human relationship for the sake of their own secret agenda. Be careful of such people.

    • Lol. I wonder how that fight ended too. Some people can be nasty for no apparent reason. Probably their own insecurities acting up and being projected upon the other. Being careful is the right strategy. Thank you! 😊

  5. I know a girl who has marital problem with her husband. Guess what? There are rumors everywhere and there are men and women in the community who are trying to “capitalize” on their estrangement. It is just difficult to watch. Whenever I see or hear it, I try to help put a stop to it, but I can only do so much. I try to warn the girl, but she’s not a really careful person. Life can be very tricky for women when they are in a difficult situation.

    • People need to mind their own DAMN business. But then their lives wouldn’t be so entertaining. I wonder why some take pleasure in the miseries of others. Complete LOSERS! Thanks for sharing your observations. I look forward to them. 🙂

  6. Anyone who inspired the Ernest Hemmingway character, just curious? The starkly contrasted couple made for a delightful story and the squabble somehow flushed the old man in the sea; he is better off reading than attending parties after 9.
