  1. It was a smooth ride till the preacher begins to hit; suddenly the overly theistic woman transforms into a protective mother to save the day. I loved reading this one!

    • Thank you so much, Jeff. I wish you the best always. May this year see the realization of dreams and the fulfillment of hope. Take care. 🙂

  2. Happy New Year, Terveen. And such a surprise ending. Yes, Mom knows the best and is the savor of us, except my mom who did a lot of damage to people around her. Still, in a way, i guess she saved and bullied us.

    • It’s devastating when our own become the enemy. As times are progressing, the concept of parent and child are changing drastically. It seems the dividing line is fading and it’s more of a responsibility to be fulfilled till the young ones aren’t freed from their captivity. Dependency has its pros and cons and children are no longer tolerant or submissive. Wish you a wonderful year ahead. Keep writing and sharing your wisdom. 🙂
