Biddu knew he was crazy. Every thought that ever occurred to him was outlandish and incomprehensible. He was aware that his ‘out of the box’ thinking was too flamboyant for a box or any other shape that was logically explainable. 1. I commented at the Masticadores site but wanted to say here that I really dig this one! Well done, Terveen! 🙂

  2. ‘Biddu knew he was crazy’. If ever there was a promising start to a story, it’s got to be this sentence. And you don’t disappoint, Terveen. What a story! I expected all sorts of possible companions for Biddu, but I never saw that tiger coming. Well done!

    • Thanks so much, Britta. Have to specify ‘crazy’, ‘not crazy’, or ‘almost there’. Can’t leave things in the lurch. haha. At least Biddu went out with a roar! 🙂

  3. How liberating it must have felt to finally give in to the craziness! Ingenious! Brilliantly written, Terveen.

  4. Offering oneself to be a meal, omg!!, a holy saint, definitely not a lunatic. Awesome!! The way you conjured up the fall and the final annihilation was just wow!

    • Thank you so much, Deepak. One can say that Biddu sacrificed himself for the good of another creature. His intentions remain his own and it’s better that way. Always enjoy your creative comments. 🙂

  5. That is a surprise ending. I have to say once in a while, one would hear news that a man jumps into the lion’s den or tiger’s enclosure. I’ve always wondered what kind of man would do that? I mean are they in their right mind? Aren’t they afraid of pain? It’s all in Biddu’s mind, really. You’ve described it so wonderfully…

    • I think you and me think alike on a lot of issues. I’ve often wondered the same. Some thoughts probably came out in this story. Thanks so much for your contemplation and thinking. 🙂

  6. Adding “Being the Carcass of Someone’s Pleasure” to my Bucket List, just under Human Fracking, Planetary Hypnosis, and Rewriting My Genetic Code.
