LOVE is a word you can either love or hate. It’s really not a word that most people harbor neutral feelings for.
This word exerts such great power that it can create vivid images in the minds and hearts of many sailing upon the vast ocean of love. Some may imagine love as a garden of fragrant flowers, or a pair of sparrows chirping upon a leafy branch, or maybe even a shooting star darting across the night sky.
Where the above images reflect affection and harmony, there are some NOT SO pretty pictures in the minds of those who have suffered at the hands of a demon called love.

An Ideal life…An Ideal partner…An Ideal child…An Ideal job…
All of us have grown up in a Real world with Real people and Real emotions.
Yet how many of us have been fed Ideal stories, shown Ideal scenarios, and pushed to follow an Ideal path?
Many! MANY! MAAANNYY!!
Ideal is really an ideal word in itself.
Perfect, supreme, flawless, these words don’t even match up to the class and respect that their synonymous cousin ‘Ideal’ radiates. Ideal has been the center stage attraction of all worldly drama since the beginning of time and its tick-tock ways.

Some of you might be smirking at the title. Women and QUIET?
Now that’s an OXYMORON!!
No, I’m not calling an ox a moron…I mean oxymoron. It means contradiction; women and quiet…complete opposites of each other…because apparently women can never be quiet…get it?
Never Mind! The joke is already RUINED.
Women, often portrayed as the fairer sex, or the weaker sex, but definitely not the bleaker sex, are intelligent, emotional and highly intuitive beings.
They have been around since the beginning of time, and have been giving men a run for their money.

Are you one of those people who seem fairly normal and upbeat?
Are you one of those people who work hard, and look forward to some good old relaxation?
Does summer and winter induce mixed responses from your psyche?
Does the heat make you perspire with glee?
Does the cold make you shiver, and clack your knees?
But, what about the HOLIDAY SEASON?

How many of you write for a living?
How many of you write to fulfill a deep passion?
How many of you write for fun?
How many of you don’t write at all?
Have I pretty much covered a major percentage of the population?
I write professionally…so that makes me a writer…and I also write because…I’m not much of a talker. Keep on Reading!

It’s that time of year again when the make-believe demons and ghouls steal the spotlight from the REAL monsters of our times.

Who hasn’t heard or read about the Me Too movement?
Me, a word that acts as a reference to oneself, the self that one learns to accept and love, and save from harm’s way since the beginning of one’s life. Too, a word that means also, or in addition to. However, when ‘Me’ and ‘Too’ are combined – Me Too – these two tiny words lose their simple natures to adopt a much greater and horrifying complexity.

What is so important about it? Why does so much thought go into keeping the right one? It’s not like only a blessed few have it. We all have one. And it sticks with us till THE END.
Even though we’re not born with it, we definitely die with it. A name is the first thing assigned to us when we enter this world. A label so that we don’t forget who we are, and so that others don’t have to wrack their brains to remember us. Imagine a world where there were no names.
What would we say if we had to call out to someone, or address someone? Keep on Reading!
